Preventing sexual violence
Enough is Enough Week is SSU’s second annual week focusing on norms about promoting healthy relationships, healthy sexuality and reproductive health for all SSU students; spreading awareness about sexual and domestic violence in LGBTQ communities; encourage bystanders to speak out against sexual violence; and removing the stigma around all survivors of sexual violence disclosing and accessing on or off campus support
Sponsored by The Alliance, The Brotherhood, Campus Educators on Sexual Assault, counseling and health services, diversity and multicultural affairs, NARAL, prevention education advocacy and response (PEAR) program, residence life, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Urban Arts Theater, Vikings CARE.

Mayoral Proclamation of April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month
SSU, the City of Salem, the YWCA North Shore Rape Crisis Center, and other community organizations, are hosting the second annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month Proclamation with Mayor Kim Driscoll at Old Town Hall. The short program will include remarks by President Meservey, as well as local religious and civic leaders. The focus will be on new voices, the LBGTQ community, and faith-based organizations. The Proclamation will be followed by a community organizations fair.
Where: Old Town Hall, Downtown Salem 93 Washington Street, Salem, MA 01970. Rain location is inside of the Old Town Hall.
