Notch Brewing 7th Anniversary Party — Apr. 29th, 2017

Happy birthday to Notch Brewing!! Well…soon, anyways. 😛

“7 years ago our founder / brewer Chris Lohring began the first brewing company in the U.S. to focus exclusively on Session Beer. The first small test batches were brewed in Kennebunk, ME, just enough beer to test the waters and make sure he was not crazy (he was, but in the right way). Seven years later, we have a brewery that was built on the back of session beer, and we’re ready to celebrate!

We’re ticketing this event for one reason alone: THE UNSTOPPABLE CASK, which is exactly what it sounds like. Doors at noon, and the cask (ok, maybe 2 casks), will be tapped promptly at 1:00 by Kim Driscoll, the venerable Mayor of Salem. Ticket price includes a custom commemorative glass as well as your unstoppable cask beer.

Beyond that it’s a cash bar, several one of a kind casks, and the rarest of rare food popups: Back Alley Bacon.
