Since we are slowly seeing October festivities rolling onto the calendar, I figured I’d start sharing some of it here. What a better place to start than the Hawthorne Hotel’s Hollywood Horror Halloween Party? π

Description:
“Book your tickets for the best Halloween party in New England and join us for the 2017 Hawthorne Hotel “Hollywood Horror” Halloween Party, which will take place on SATURDAY OCTOBER 28. All ticket sales are non-transferrable and final. No refunds will be given. This is a 21+ party only. Tickets do sell out fast, so don’t procrastinate to avoid disappointment.”
Event and ticket details:
“Please note that we take the safety and security of our guests very serious. As such, we have each year private security, police details and fire marshals on site in addition to the hotel’s management team. Upon entering the property we will be asking for your ID (no exceptions), will be checking purses and may randomly frisk people. Please leave backpacks, real and fake weapons home, as they will not be allowed inside the hotel. Once inside the hotel, please familiarize yourself with emergency exits. When requested, please follow instructions of police or management. The Hawthorne Hotel is a non-smoking building. Due to the Massachusetts Liquor Laws, we cannot allow any outside alcoholic beverages to be brought on premise. A cash bar will be available (credit cards accepted). This event is a ticketed event. Non-ticket holders will not be allowed entry to the hotel. Please note that tickets are non-refundable. This a 21+ only event. Doors will open at 7pm, and last drinks will be served at 11:30pm.”
Transportation:
“Please be mindful that on Halloween weekend, traffic in and out of Salem will be a challenge. We therefore strongly recommend using public transportation. The Salem train station is 2 blocks away from the hotel, and there is also the option of taking the Salem Ferry from Boston.”
Rooms:
“Unfortunately all of our rooms are already sold out for the weekend.”
