Notch & FunDead’s Excellent Halloween Kick-Off and Book Launch — Sept. 30, 2017

What a fun way to begin the fall festivities in Salem! FunDead events are always a spooky good time so be sure to check out the details of their kick off party and book launch.

“Come kick off the Halloween season at Notch and celebrate the release of FunDead’s newest anthology, ‘One Night in Salem’. Join us for an excellent adventure and come dressed in your best vintage, retro, or period costume for a chance to win prizes put together by Notch and FunDead Publications! We will have a laser selfie background for those wishing to take nostalgic awkward “school” portraits.

We have created 3 categories for the costume contest: Best Vintage Costume (1950’s and after), Best Historical (Pre-1950’s), and Best Overall. Each winner will receive a $25 Notch Gift card, A Vintage Salem Beer Glass, and a FunDead book of their choice! Best Overall will get to pick TWO books! We will announce a time for winner selection, contestants must be present at the time of the announcement to win! Costumes may be any of the following: vintage/decade themed, historical themed, vintage Halloween costumes, antique Halloween costumes.

FunDead will be celebrating one year in business, as well as their latest release, a collection of short gothic and horror stories set on Halloween nights in Salem, throughout history. The anthology spans 23 Halloweens spread out over the last 400 years in The Witch City. Copies of the book will be available to purchase at this event! Writers who will be present to sign your copy:
