We just talked about Rebel Yell Yoga’s October events at Notch Brewing and Deacon Giles Distillery, so I figured why not go right into Samhain Savasana? 😛 This looks really neat and I love the combination of themes here.
“Join me for a magical evening hosted by Witch City Wicks in Salem MA: a very special yoga/meditation/pagan circle. This one hour yin/restorative yoga class will comprise gentle and relaxing yoga poses that will allow your mind to wander through a guided meditation focusing on the seasonal vibrations of samhain, the traditional celtic “final harvest” known here as Halloween. You do NOT need to be a witch, a pagan, a buddhist, or even a yogi to come to this class. It is open to all and the themes of harvesting, turning inward, and honoring our ancestors ring true for all of us. We will focus on the connection between our mind, body, and spirit as a sangha, a community of practice, and while the veil between worlds is thin, uncover illumined knowledge to guide us through the darkness of winter before the rebirth of spring in all her glory.
