The Friday Favorites — Coffee

Welcome to a new series here on the blog!! I decided to start a family of posts that will go up on Fridays and will outline my favorites in Salem in a certain category. This week is everyone’s beloved caffeinated beverage…COFFEE.

So, where in Salem can you score some delicious brew? My favorite at the moment is Brew Box. I think their iced coffee is absolutely delicious and I’d never turn down popping in there for some. They also offer something that I can’t say I have seen anywhere else which is ‘cereal milk’. It is made by straining milk through a particular cereal to flavor it. You can then add it to your drink to sweeten it and give it a hint of taste of the cereal it was made from. Super unique.

Brew Box is in a pretty small space on Essex street so they do have limited seating. If some place you can sit down with your laptop, steal some WiFi and have a warm beverage is more your speed, then I would suggest Jaho. They are down near the wharf and have tons of comfy chairs, benches and outlets for working while you caffeinate yourself. 😛
