The Friday Favorites — Desserts

Another post in the Friday Favorites series! Yay. This time around it’s everyone’s favorite…desserts. There are TONS of restaurants in Salem, many of which offer sweets and these are a few of my favorites. <3

When Goodnight Fatty started offering their small batch homemade cookies, Salem was immediately in love. The lines are long and the cookies are pricey but they are absolutely worth it. They are in Higginson square and sling sugary goodness Friday and Saturday nights. They also do popups around Salem at events here and there so keep your eye on their social media for info regarding that.

The scones at Jodi Bee Bakes are truly next level. I love them more than scones literally anywhere else, not even kidding. The flavors change seasonally, so keep your eye on their menu for updates and don’t hesitate to grab one if you’re visiting. If you don’t classify scones as desserts (like I do :P) they also have gluten free cupcakes, vegan cupcakes and whoopie pies as well!

If you’re in the Salem area when Speakeasy Donuts has a popup happening I would absolutely suggest stopping by. Their donut flavors are the most unique I have ever seen and are consistently amazing. Flavors like matcha green tee, cereal killer, creme brulee, mulberry gin punch and more can be seen on their menus. Check out their Facebook page for updated flavors and locations.
