A Christmas Carol, starring Jonathan Kruk — Dec. 15, 2017

I love all of the holiday events around Salem, it is seriously getting me into the spirit.

If you’re looking to catch a showing of A Christmas Carol to celebrate the season, be sure to swing over to Grace Church in Salem on Dec. 15th.

“Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk’s solo show of “A Christmas Carol” began in 2011 at the Old Dutch Church in Sleepy Hollow, a dramatic retelling of Charles Dickens’ “perfect haunted holiday tale of hope and redemption for all.’

Fans compare Jonathan to “an elegant Robin Williams,” possessing “a Patrick Stewart-like presence,” and ‘the charm of Alistar Sims.” The show runs one animated hour.

Musician Jim Keyes warms up the house with a lively singalong of “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” Keyes accompanies Kruk on a vintage Hammond organ, violin, harp, bells and a can of rusty chains.
