Intramersive Media call for actors/actresses for Blackthorn Winter — Jan. 29 and 30, 2018

Were you a part of Daemonologie and want to work with Intramersive Media again? Are you a local talent and you want to see what it’s all about? Well, open auditions for Blackthorn Winter are right around the corner.

Per Intramersive’s website:
“Become A hero with INTRAMERSIVE
Salem Old Town Hall, January 29th and 30th 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Intramersive Media LLC is looking to cast 6 roles for their upcoming March 17th event, Blackthorn Winter. This event will require an in person audition, a minimum of 5 rehearsals and the commitment to a full day March 17th. This is a paid position.

Intramersive Media LLC is an immersive game theatre company that is dedicated to developing original works that allows the audience to be involved with our stories and worlds as they unfold. Part LARP, part immersive theatre show, Intramersive Media is always looking for actors who are interested in exploring a character and a world in depth. We ask out actors to be able to play their characters for a long period of time, while interacting with each other and the guests. Actors who have Historical Interpretation, LARP or Murdery Mystery Theatre experience are encouraged but you do not need this background to audition for us.

Audition Preparations –

Part 1:

We would like a 2 minute contemporary dramatic monologue.

Part 2:

We would like for you to find a mythical hero you are really interested in and we would like you to come and introduce us to this hero. No costumes, no props we would like to meet your hero through your interpretation, hear their story (in under 5 mins) and then be able to interview them.

We are interested in heroes of all kinds from all areas of the world and all cultural backgrounds but we do ask that you choose a hero from an confirmed culture (no fictional universes or modern comic books please)
