The Friday Favorites — Burgers

Since it’s Friday and a good time for celebrating with some yummy food, I figured we’d cover burgers for today’s Friday Favorites! There are many restaurants in Salem that offer delicious options and these are a few of my favorite ones.

The burger at Brodie’s Seaport is one of my top choices. They offer a few kinds (including a veggie burger for those who don’t eat meat) but I really like the classic “Brodie” burger. On their website it’s described as “Char-grilled to your liking. Choice ground sirloin beef with lettuce, tomato & on a buttered bun.” Definitely a go-to in my book.

Next up, I am a big fan of the sliders at O’neills (pictured above). I have mentioned it in other posts, but I think they’re so yummy. I have had the regular ones as well as the pulled pork/slaw ones and they are both delicious.

Finally, my last suggestion is the Paisley R vegan black bean burger at the Ugly Mug Diner. The menu describes it as a “house made patty with corn, red onion & panko, served with lettuce, tomato & avocado on wheat bread” and its stellar. So flavorful and tasty.
