Happy Friday!! <3 Today on the blog for this week’s Friday Favorites I figured we would talk about my favorite October activities. We are 250 days away from Halloween according to Spooky Little Halloween, so it got me in the mood to talk about some fall events.
First on my list is the Haunted Happenings grand parade which pretty much marks the beginning of October shenanigans in Salem. It’s a blast, everyone is in such great spirits, the costumes are so much fun to look at and it’s just generally an awesome time for all.
Next up, I have to give a shout to the Tales and Tombstones tour by the Salem Trolley. I already love the Trolley and this special tour they do in October is awesome.
Third in line is…another parade. π The Howl-o-ween Pet Parade is so much fun and absolutely adorable. If you’re okay with fatal levels of cuteness in the form of animals in costume, this is for you.
Last, and I have mentioned this a few times before as a favorite, is Cry Innocent: The People vs. Bridget Bishop. I have a full review of it here if you’re interested, however a quick run down is as follows: Cry Innocent is a mock 1600’s witch trial where you as an audience member are part of the jury. Beginning with Bridget Bishop’s arrest in front of the town hall and leading right inside, you’re part of this interactive performance.
What are some of your favorites? What are you looking forward to the most? Feel free to comment and share below.
