Dying for an awesome night out for yourself or with some friends? Finz is holding a Cigars, Whisky and Steak event and this looks awesome.
Per social media:
“Looking for the perfect gift for the guy that already has everything? Get him a night out he won’t forget! Join us for a night of cigars, whisky, and a big juicy steak!
Each guest will receive 3 cigars from the Olde Salem Cigar Co. Smoke here on our enclosed patio, then take a couple home. We will also be sampling some rare whiskys from Scotland, Ireland, and the US throughout the course of the evening. The highlight will be a 14oz. bone in rib-eye, perfectly prepared and served with “traditional” steakhouse sides.”
Tickets are available here.
This is happening on 3/11/18 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Finz Seafood and Grill. Finz is located at 76 Wharf St. Salem, MA 01970.
A note on the spelling of the word “whisky” without the ‘e’…because I did notice that, too.
“With our Cigar, Steak, and Whisky night coming up soon, we asked our bartender, Lily, to explain the difference between ‘whisky’ and ‘whiskey’. Here is her response: It’s time to clear something up – Did you know Whisky isn’t the same as Whiskey and the difference begins with Geography? Whisky, sans the “e”, is from Scotland and Whiskey, a distilled corn product, is Irish (but more commonly Kentucky). Also, Scotch Whisky is made from malted barley, so don’t say that extra “e” matters…barely.”
Enjoy!! <3
