The Friday Favorites — Festivals in Salem

Earlier today I posted in my Facebook group asking for suggestions of topics for the Friday Favorites. I always happy to hear your input and one suggestion I got was for festivals. So here we are!

The first one that I absolutely have to give a nod to is the Salem’s So Sweet festival. I have covered the last two years on my blog and I had a blast both times. If you aren’t familiar, the festival is a celebration of chocolate, wine and ice sculptures and takes place in February. If you want to see the images I have taken, here are some links:

My second mention (and coming up soon!) goes to the Salem Arts Festival. It takes place in June and is centered around dance, music, poetry, artwork, hand made vendors and more. If you want to see pictures of last year’s festival as well as Mural Slam, here ya go:

Of course, I have to mention Haunted Happenings. The busiest time of year in Salem and the most fun ever…Salem’s month long celebration of all things Halloween. I’m already planning my costume for this year, are you? If you’d like to check out images from last year, click the following links:
