Happy Friday, everyone! We made it to the weekend. For today’s Friday Favorites I wanted cover my fav historical sites in Salem. There are tons to chose from, so feel free to comment below with your picks.
The House of the Seven Gables is gorgeous, and honestly one of my favorite historical sites in the city. I love the gardens out back, the guided tours, the view of the water, the gift shop…you get the idea. 😛
If you’re out and about for a stroll on a summer evening, I suggest walking the Mcintire District, which is also a favorite of mine. The homes are gorgeous, featured on brick streets just begging to be photographed. (Bonus: Stop by the Witch House and the Ropes Mansion along the way…)
Last I wanted to give a nod to the Old Burying Point and Witch Trials Memorial. It’s tucked behind the Witch Village and a popular spot in the fall. The whole place has a calm vibe, if you ask me, and I recommend a wander if you’re in the area.
