The Ropes Mansion reopens for the 2018 season

Yay! The Ropes Mansion reopened for the 2018 season on the 26th! 🙂

Per the Peabody Essex Museum:
“The Ropes Mansion reopens for the season, starting today! Built in 1727 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Ropes Mansion is recognized as one of New England’s most significant and thoroughly documented historic houses. From noon to 4pm, guests are invited to freely circulate throughout the 15 rooms, exploring at their own pace. PEM Guides are on hand to answer your questions.

Location: 318 Essex St. FREE

If you can’t make it to the house today, walk the gardens at your own leisure anytime, or come to any of our self-guided tours every Saturday and Sunday through fall.”
