Edited 8/24/2018: Unfortunately, the 2018 Salem Spice Festival has been called off. According to their website and an e-mail I received: “Due to the construction at Forest River Park the 2018 Salem Spice Festival is postponed till further notice.”

Last year the Spice Festival was canceled due to unavoidable delays in the municipal Forest River Park drainage project that surround and directly impacts the village so I’m hoping this year goes off without a hitch. The Spice Festival is such a good time and if you’re in the area, I highly suggest you check it out. Also, Pioneer Village is a Hocus Pocus filming location, so…bonus. 😛
Per Salem.org:
“Celebrate Salem’s long and fascinating history with exotic exports from around the world at Salem’s third annual Spice Festival. Spices, herbs and teas in food, drink, medicines, and arts and crafts will be explored. Crafts, food samples and demonstrations, live music and fascinating lectures, workshops and storytelling will all be featured. At Salem 1630: Pioneer Village.”
You can also keep an eye on the Spice Festival website for updates as we get closer.
This event takes place on Sept. 8th and 9th, 2018 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm both days. The Spice Festival is held at Salem’s Pioneer Village located at Forest River Park 98 West Ave. Salem, MA 01970. Enjoy!! <3
