I saw this event shared in the Salem, MA history exchange FB group and wanted to put the info on my blog as well because this is SO COOL! If you’re into history, preservation and cemeteries, this should be right up your alley. Details per the Facebook event:
“Learn basic stone conservation techniques while volunteering to conserve an historic landmark. Either help or watch as we choose a few stones to restore on Saturday. I will talk you through the materials and tools I am using. Participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver by the City of Salem.”
