Edited 9/19/18 to add: The free satellite parking and free shuttles have been confirmed for October 20-21 and 27-28. They will operate 10am – 8pm. Acting Parking Director Nick Downing for has organized the shuttles. Any questions can be directed to him at ndowning@salem.com or Kate Fox at kfox@salem.org.

I have been asked by a handful of people via DM and via my Facebook group if Salem is offering the free park and shuttle option this October like they did last year. I have yet to get a concrete answer via the City of Salem’s website or the like, so earlier today I tweeted Mayor Kim Driscoll’s office and asked. They replied saying yes, for the last two weekends in October. I replied, asking if the info and route are the same – I will update this post once I hear back from them. In the meanwhile I wanted to update you all that this shuttle does seem to be on the books! 🙂
