Yesterday a member of my Facebook group mentioned the rate change for parking in Salem, and today I got the same information e-mailed to me so I figured I’d share it here too.
Beginning Sept. 22 and extending through October, the rates at two of Salem’s garages will be as follows:
- Museum Place, hourly: $1.25/hour
- Museum Place, Salem resident monthly pass: $70.00/month
- Museum Place, non-resident monthly pass: $80.00/month
- South Harbor, hourly weekdays: $0.75
- South Harbor, hourly weekends: $1.50
- Both garages, October weekends: $10 for up to 2 hours; $30 for 2 hours and over
Parking and travel around Salem can be a headache, so be sure to plan ahead for everything. If you aren’t sure about navigating the witch city during the busiest time of year is for you, consider public transportation options so you don’t have to worry about it. Good luck and enjoy!! <3
