Ever wonder what it was like to be in an old witch jail? Experience it first hand on this walking tour during the spookiest time of year in Salem. Details per the Facebook event:

“Experience the horrors of the Old Witch Gaol (jail), the actual location where many accused were held during the infamous trials. There’s no turning back now. As you step into the Gaol on the eve of the deadliest night of the Witch Trials, the jailor will guide you to hear the stories of the convicted and their final pleas. Their fate has been chosen, but is it deserved? We will let you come to your own conclusions.

• What is this experience like?
  Imprisoned is a 15-minute walking tour experience that takes you through a dark space, while this is not intended to be scary, this experience is not suggested for young children under age 5.
• What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

• What’s the refund policy?
  Due to the high demand for tickets in October, refunds will not be issued within 14 days of the event date.
• Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
  There is no need to print tickets beforehand just make sure to provide the full name of the attendee(s) listed on the ticket sale, to the check-in staff upon arrival. If you would like to check in earlier in the day to receive your entry tickets ahead of time you may check in with the Essex Heritage staff at the Salem Visitor Center at 2 New Liberty Street between 10am & 5pm, anytime after that you must proceed to 35 St. Peter Street to check in.
• What happens if I miss my scheduled time?
  We will try to make every accommodation to get you into a later show ONLY if tickets are still available, but due to the high demand for tickets in October, refunds will not be issued if you show up late.”
