The Colonial Kitchen: Food Without Fire at the House of the Seven Gables — Oct. 6, 2018

This sounds like a really neat take on learning some history at the House of the Seven Gables. Image used is one submitted when the House of the Seven Gables took over my second IG account; details per the Facebook event:

“There was a lot of baking, boiling and roasting in a colonial kitchen. However, not everything needed flames. Come lend a hand to some fireless food preparation and preservation techniques, such as butter-making, salting and sugaring.

These labors will be ongoing during the length of the program.
