Samhain Savasana at Witch City Wicks — Oct. 28, 2018

“Join me for a magical evening hosted by Witch City Wicks in Salem MA: a very special yoga/meditation/magick circle. This one hour gentle yoga class will comprise gentle and relaxing yoga poses that will allow your mind to wander through a guided meditation focusing on the seasonal vibrations of Samhain. Samhain is the traditional celtic “final harvest” known here as Halloween and is a time to harvest the last bounty for winter and to express gratitude to our ancestors. You do NOT need to be a witch, a pagan, a buddhist, or even a and advanced yogi to come to this class. It is open to all and the themes of harvesting, turning inward, and honoring our ancestors ring true for all of us. We will focus on the connection between our mind, body, and spirit as a sangha, the community of practice, and while the veil between worlds is thin, uncover illumined knowledge to cultivate during the darkness of winter to last us until the rebirth of spring in all her glory.

A small bottle of black viola and mugwort flower essence included with class. Black viola is especially powerful during times of closure and when shifts in energy are occurring. Mugwort increases powers of divination/intuition at the times when the veil between worlds is thing. Samhain is such a time.

Space is VERY limited, so purchase your spot early. Please bring a yoga mat, water, a towel or blanket, and a pillow (or something else that you can use as a prop to make yourself comfortable).”
