Small Business Saturday in Salem, MA — Nov. 24, 2018

I LOVE Small Business Saturday events. Supporting local businesses and recognizing the shop owners that are part of what makes Salem so great is so important! This year, the Salem Chamber of Commerce and Salem Main Streets are working on putting together some awesome deals for everyone. According to the Chamber’s website:

“The Salem Chamber and Salem Main Streets are organizing a holiday shopping event for the Salem, MA downtown area on Small Business Saturday, November 24 from 10 am – 7 pm. Small Business Saturday is part of the “Shop Small” movement initiated by American Express to encourage holiday shoppers to shop local on Saturday, November 24.

Downtown Salem businesses will be kicking off Small Business Saturday by giving away free tote bags and other fun “Shop Small” giveaways.

The City of Salem has agreed to make parking in downtown Salem free for the day.

The Museum Store at The House of the Seven Gables is participating in Small Business Saturday with the Salem Chamber of Commerce.
