Salem Farmers’ Market, Salem MA — 2019 dates and info

You all may have noticed I’m on a bit of a “festivals and city wide events” kick lately. I am just busy adding these dates to the blog and calendar so it can be searched and available. Now that we have some dates/info announced I’ve been going down the list. 😛

This year the Salem Farmers’ Market is happening on the following dates:

Every Thursday, from June 13 through October 17, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in Derby Square, Salem MA.
Please note there is no market on July 4th, and the market on October 3rd is shortened/optional for vendors due to the Haunted Happenings Grand Parade.

A little about the market per their website:
“The Salem Farmers’ Market is a tradition that dates back to 1634. With its peak around 1930, where more than 40 vendors sold goods in collapsible wooden stalls, an estimated 10,000 people visited the market on a single Saturday. In the early 1970s, the market ended, and the Salem Redevelopment Authority redesigned the square into what we now know as Derby Square.”
