Oh, our girl Samantha. She gets a lot of attention, from tourists and locals alike. Be sure to join in on a discussion all about her at the House of the Seven Gables. Details per the Gables website:
“The famed television show, Bewitched, filmed a series of episodes in Salem in 1970. Though the crewโs time in Salem was short, the show made a lasting impact. In the episode featuring The House of the Seven Gables, Darrin and Samantha are followed back to their hotel by an enchanted bed warmer. The police are called and Samantha is forced to help Darrin get out of jail.
Television and pop culture historian Robert Thompson will talk about Bewitched โ as a show, statue, and icon of classic television. Join us for talk about this and an overview of the history of television and how it continues to impact us today.
