It has been a minute since I have done a Friday Favorites but I am trying to work on adding them back in. I got a lot of positive feedback and messages mentioning that you guys liked reading my picks on various topics, so here we are. 🙂 If you have a suggestion for a category you’d like me to do a favorites on, feel free to let me know!
Salem is home to many unique shops that offer amazing stuff, so please keep that in mind. These are just some of my personal favorites. 🙂 Here we go…
Street fairs
Salem hosts a few seasonal street fairs and pop up markets which are all great, in my opinion. I have purchased many awesome and unique items while wandering the tents and shops, scoring some local, handmade goods. Definitely check out any fairs that are happening while you’re in Salem if you have the chance.

Hive & Forge
Hive & Forge is a unique little shop in Salem that sells a variety of other artists’ work, co-op style. You can wander the shelves and find handmade and local goods that range from soaps to jewelry, tarot cards, home goods and more. You’re sure to find unique items that you definitely won’t see again elsewhere so if something grabs your eye, you should snag it while you can.

Witch City Wicks
Witch City Wicks is a beloved candle retailer in Salem, but what I especially love is all of the other little stuff they have around the shop. Books, journals, bits of home decor, etc. The stock changes over pretty quickly, in my opinion, so be sure to stop in to see what they currently have.
Honorable mention: Tibet Arts and Healing
This shop is tucked in so tightly at the top of Essex Street it’s actually pretty easy to miss. However, the whole vibe of the place is so calm and they have gorgeous little finds and gifts inside. I would definitely suggest stopping in.
Honorable mention: Pamplemousse
Yeah, it can be a little pricey but I think they have super cute items inside. Ranging from home decor to kitchen goods, dried pasta, local booze, mead and more, they have tons to browse.
I hope this helps!! What are some of your favorites? Feel free to comment below. Enjoy!! <3
