Break out your best circus costume and attire to join The Lobster Shanty for this year’s adult prom!! The theme is “Under the Big Top”. Details and image used are per Facebook.
“It’s prom season, people! We will close the restaurant in the evening for this ticketed private event. Tickets will be $15 and a portion of your ticket price, plus the contents of our donation jar at the event, will be donated to PAWS, the Perfoming Animal Welfare Society. (www.pawsweb.org) which helps big cats, elephants and other animals find sanctuary.
The Lobster Shanty adult prom is strictly fancy dress and 21+
Our friends at Deacon Giles Distillery will be providing some sinful libations.
Todd Richard will be in the center ring, spinning your favorite tunes on his version of a calliope.
This year’s theme, to celebrate the new awning over our deck, is Under the Big Top. All circus whimsies and freakishness are welcome and encouraged, with one exception, NO CLOWNS*. Anyone dressed as a clown will be fined $100 over their ticket price, and that money will go directly to Behind You Salem – Elizabeth Bookholz Memorial Fund. *Harlequins & mimes are acceptable.”
