What is better than new books? FREE new books, that’s what. SalemRecycles’ free book swap is on the calendar for September! Details are per the Facebook event.
“Our next Book Swap is Saturday, September 14! Swapping isn’t necessary — feel free to drop off, take away, or both.
Accepted items
Books, CDs & DVDs, video games, records, and greeting cards. Please swap only clean, mildew-free items. Media items must be in original cases. All leftover “accepted items” will be donated or recycled.
Reusable bag swap
Have excess reusable / cloth bags at home? Bring them to the Swap for others to take as needed.
Items we can’t accept
Encyclopedias, textbooks over 10 years old, VHS tapes, and audio cassette tapes.
Drop off hours
- Friday, Sept. 13, 4:00 – 7:00 PM
- Saturday, Sept. 14, 9:00 AM – noon (swap starts 10AM)
