Salem has had a super busy time this last week along the waters! With the Kalmar Nyckle visiting us and the Maritime festival happening, it was a popular one. In a few weeks here you’ll be able to join Historic Salem, Inc. to learn a little more about the same area. Details are per the HSI website.
“Almost all of the land that we consider the working waterfront never existed when Salem was settled. On this walking tour we’ll seek out remnants of the old city, explore an island buried under pavement and see where land was washed away.”
