“Tickets are on sale now! You are cordially invited to attend Fezziwig’s Ball, an unforgettable evening of dance and merriment from the era of Dickens!
The evening will begin at 6:00 pm with a lantern procession through the streets of Salem. Join us in singing 19th century carols before returning to the hall for hot cider. Dancing will commence at 7:00pm. Lavish refreshments will be served at the intermission.
The evening will include easy set dances which will be taught during the evening, interspersed with waltzes and polkas for couples. Learn Victorian favorites like Pop Goes the Weasel and Sir Roger de Coverly. Interspersed with these will be elegant couple dances such as the waltz and polka.
Costume from the lifetime of Charles Dickens (1812-1870) or modern evening dress is requested.”
