Midwinter Masquerade at the Hawthorne Hotel — Dec. 21, 2019

“An Immersive, Magickal Experience during the Darkest of Winter at The Hawthorne Hotel in historic Salem, Massachusetts. This holiday season, the Spirits of Salem are taking over the Hawthorne Hotel and transforming it into a magickally immersive experience unlike anything seen before!

While the Grand Ball Room is transformed into a wicked winter wonderland, wander through the Hotel and visit various vendor pop-ups featuring local and visiting artisans, mask-makers, jewelry designers, including internationally renown magickal hair and make-up artists, and MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED!!!

As you wander, you may also find yourself faery-led into mysterious, mystical encounters throughout the Hotel! Find clues and solve riddles for the chance to win prizes, and help crown the Lord of Misrule to preside as King-for-a-Day over the festivities!

Proceeding the Masquerade itself, there will be a speaking panel of several Guests of Honor from the witchcraft community in Salem and beyond, including author and performer Laura Tempest Zakroff. During the Masquerade there will be live entertainment, music, feasting, and dancing, culminating in ritual led by our Guests of Honor at the EXACT moment of the Winter Solstice.
