Have you ever had an aura photograph taken? I did once back in the day here in Salem and it came out all shades of red and orange. What do you think that means? Coming up soon at the Peabody Essex Museum you’ll have a chance to contemplate all of the above. Details are per the PEM.
“With your personal aura as a guide, explore the mystic realm of color in Hans Hofmann: The Nature of Abstraction. Pose for your unique aura portrait with Providence-based artist Glenna Van Nostrand of Bright Future Aura Photography, then enter the exhibition to find the painting the matches your signature color and reflect on the interpretation.
Please note: Same-day general admission to the museum is also required and can be purchased in advance or at the Admissions Desk in the museum when you arrive.”
This event takes place on November 10, 2019 with tours at 3:00 pm, 3:15 pm and 3:30 pm. The Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) is located at 161 Essex St. Salem, MA 01970. Tickets are available here. Enjoy!! <3
