Each year I do a Salem, MA based gift giving guide, offering suggestions for holiday items that relate to the witch city. 2019 has been a crazy year for many of us and I hope this helps spark some ideas for you. I know I have been working on making my holiday lists! So in no particular order we have the following…
HausMagick: Transform your home with Witchcraft by Erica Feldman
This book is written by Erica Feldman who owns HausWitch here in Salem. Details of the book are per the HausWitch website:

Halloween + Christmas items from Merry and Bright
Merry and Bright recently opened up on the Pickering Wharf and tucked in the back is a little Halloween Christmas area. You can find a tree all done up in orange and black, ornaments and more. If you want gift items that keep the spooky vibes going, this might be a good option for you!
Halloween jewelry from RJ Coins and Jewelry
Did you know that RJ Coins and Jewelry has a section of Halloween jewelry? You can find skeletons, skulls, pumpkins, scrimshaw knives featuring the Schooner Fame of Salem and more.
A gift card to the Schooner Fame
Speaking of the Schooner Fame…they offer gift cards right on their website! I have been out on the water with the Fame a couple of times now and it is absolutely lovely. This would be a fantastic option for the nautical peeps in your life.
Salem based prints from Rusty and Ingrid
Rusty and Ingrid is new to Salem and the offer handmade screen prints of all different images. They have a collection that features many Salem landmarks such as the Friendship, The Witch Museum, The House of the Seven Gables and more.
Rainbow Pride pin from Georgia Made This
Georgia is one of Salem’s youngest entrepreneurs, with help from her parents of course. One of the items she offers directly benefits nAGLY and it’s this adorable rainbow pride pin. This would make a great stocking item and you know you’re helping out a good cause at the same time. Check it out here.
Tickets to Christmas in Salem
I know the tour takes place before Christmas itself but tickets to Christmas in Salem would make a lovely holiday gift, in my opinion. Per the tour’s website:
“Few communities have the rich legacy of historic houses that Salem, Massachusetts boasts. These homes, spanning four centuries, help define the character as well as the appearance of the city, and every year some of their owners invite visitors in to view their homes decked out in full holiday regalia, with the help of professional decorators and florists. Christmas in Salem features a glimpse into these private homes that have been professionally decorated for the holiday season as well as a series of special events such as walking tours and wine tastings that are exclusive to Christmas in Salem ticket holders.”
Tickets are available here.
Give local spirits
Salem is home to a handful of breweries, a hard cider company and a distillery. If you’re going to a party or looking for something easy, grab some cans or bottles to go. I’d check right with the manufacturer themselves or stop into a place like Pamplemousse where they carry various singles and cases of local spirits. One of my favorite go to’s is Macachusetts from Far From the Tree Cider. Super dry and a classic.
Literally anything from Salem Style
The entire shop over at Salem Style is seriously the cutest. From hand warmers to drink cozies, jewelry and more there is certainly going be to be something there you like. Shop here.
I hope this helps! Feel free to comment below with your own Salem based gift ideas and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Enjoy!! <3
