I have been seeing lots of book club type events popping up around Salem for those who included “read more” on their new years resolutions and I love it. You can join Salem Main Streets next week and through 2020 to read, discuss and enjoy the witch city. Details are per Facebook and Salem Main Streets website.
“Join us for Salem Main Streets’ first Community Book Club! This week we will focus on chapters 1, 2, and 3 (Created Spaces, Natural Spaces, and Waterfronts) that discuss Spaces within a community.
Salem Main Streets is excited to kick off 2020 by leading our first community book club, using Dar Williams’ book What I Found in a Thousand Towns to examine the concept of positive proximity and how these different forces shape downtown Salem, as well as our individual roles in creating potential within our own community.
