Are you bringing the kiddos into the witch city this month? Well, today on the blog I have ten things to do in Salem, MA with kids this October 2021. Please keep in mind this list is not all inclusive, there are tons of other things you can do with the family as well. These are just my suggestions. Have fun, be safe and enjoy!

Hocus Pocus at the Ropes Mansion

Oct. 29, 30 and 31, 2021

“To celebrate our Salem Stories exhibition, visit the Ropes Mansion (318 Essex Street.) decorated in the style of cult classic Salem-based film Hocus Pocus. You won’t have to bob for apples during this visit to Allison’s house but this is a must-see for any fan this October! No reservations are required. Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade

Oct. 9, 2021

“Salem Main Streets is very pleased to announce the return of the annual Howl-o-ween Pet Parade, this year in a combined format. The physical pet parade will return to Derby Wharf on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 1 pm, with the usual fun, costumes, and contest with prizes. In addition, we are fortunate to continue our 2020 partnership with Creative Collective to produce a virtual contest for those who are not able to join us on Oct. 9th.” [Source]

Haunted Happenings Grand Parade

“The Salem Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to participate in the Annual Salem Chamber of Commerce Haunted Happenings Grand Parade on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Reflecting the COVID Pandemic, this year’s event has been reimagined and will be a reverse parade featuring the theme “Upside Down and Inside Out”. Mayor’s Night Out

Who doesn’t love Salem’s buskers? They bring joy and smiles, good times and fun pictures to all who visit us. This year, the buskers will be assigned various spots around Salem where they can be found. Check on the social media accounts of the busker you’re looking for to find out where they will be and when. Be sure to tip if you take pictures with them!

Children’s Halloween Costume Ball at the Salem Waterfront Hotel and Suites

This October, join the Good Witch of Salem as she hosts a costume ball for children of all ages at the Salem Waterfront Hotel and Suites!
