Good morning everyone, happy Monday and welcome back. Today I have the information for you regarding the annual Howl-o-Ween Pet Parade. Details are per Salem Main Streets.

Howl-o-Ween Pet Parade Salem MA — Oct. 8, 2022

“Salem is going to the dogs (and cats and lizards and bunnies), and we couldn’t be happier about it! Salem Main Streets is pleased to announce the return of the annual Howl-o-ween Pet Parade! The pet parade will return to Derby Wharf on Saturday, Oct. 8th at 1 pm, with the usual fun, costumes, and contest with prizes.

The 2022 Howl-o-ween Pet Parade is supported by lead sponsor Wolf Next Door Coffee, and our friends at Wicked Good Books, Dr. Melissa Torres- Cosmetic Dentistry, and Frog Bailey.

Parade participants gather on Derby Wharf on the Salem Maritime National Historic Site between 1 and 1:30 pm. Participants will then do a loop through neighboring Central Wharf and return to Derby Wharf for the costume contest. We ask all parade participants to register online in advance if possible. We request a small donation of $5 for Salem residents and $10 for non-residents. All proceeds go directly to Salem Main Streets in support of special community programs (like this one!) all year round. This year a portion of the proceeds will go to the Salem Pantry’s Pet Pantry.

If you are entering multiple pets as one group costume, you only need to register once.
