Hi guys, happy Monday and as always, welcome back to the blog. Honestly – I can’t believe we did it. This fall season in Salem has been bonkers on a new level and we made it through another Halloween. As the streets begin to empty and the city takes a collective breath, you might find yourself missing the good times you just had. So here we are today, to chat about once you’re home from Salem. I have done a slightly similar blog post<\/a> in the past but I wanted to update it for 2021. The Post Salem Blues are super real and here are a few tips and tricks to help ease back into reality after your trip to the witch city.<\/p>\n

Begin planning for 2022 or for an off season visit to Salem, MA<\/h4>\n

I don’t know about you but I love knowing I have trips and exciting things on the books. If it helps you to begin making to-do lists for your October 2022 trip then grab a paper and pen and get to it. Better yet – plan an off season visit to Salem, MA. The city has so much to offer, not just Halloween good times. Some of my favorite festivals and events here in Salem don’t happen in the fall! I love the ice sculptures and wintery vibes of the Salem’s So Sweet Festival in February. I always have a fantastic time at the Salem Arts Festival in June. Pick an off peak time and enjoy the city without the intense crowds and pressure to plan and book ahead.<\/p>\n

If you discovered new businesses and stores in Salem that stole your heart, check them out online! Give them a follow on social media, sign up for their newsletters and see if they have an online shop. You might be able to continue browsing all of the awesome stuff they offer right from your home. Ship a little bit of Salem right to your door.<\/p>\n

Leave amazing reviews<\/h4>\n

If you had a great experience with a walking tour, at a restaurant, an attraction, etc. then go online and leave them glowing reviews! The city needs it every Halloween season and this year that applies 1000x more. Find them on Yelp, Facebook, Google, etc. and share your positive experiences and favorite memories. I promise it goes such a long way.<\/p>\n
