There is always something to do in Salem. With events being added to the calendar daily, you have tons of options. However, if you’re looking for something fun to do with your significant other, here are some ideas to give you some inspiration!!

Have drinks at The Roof

Offering a sky level view of Salem, The Roof is a great option. Located on top of The Hotel Salem, it’s a happenin’ spot that has been very much embraced by locals and tourists alike.

Go for a sail

I’d suggest checking out the Schooner FAME or Mahi Mahi Cruises and head out onto the water! You might consider booking a sunset sail to make it even more romantic.

Dine in Salem

Salem is home to many restaurants that are all fantastic. Set up a romantic date night meal somewhere nice and enjoy each other’s company. I’d suggest checking out Ledger…it can be a little pricey in some ways but the restaurant is gorgeous and would make for a lovely evening.

Take it old school

Wander around the arcade at Salem Willows Park, play some games and eat popcorn. Have some old school, competitive fun over an arcade game. 😛

The great pumpkin walk

This year as part of Salem’s Wicked Wednesdays programming there is going to be a pumpkin walk/trail around Salem. I think bundling up with some cider and walking around to see the displays sounds like autumn date perfection.

Wander the Salem’s So Sweet Festival

Happening in February around Valentine’s Day, Salem’s So Sweet is a wine, chocolate and ice sculptures festival. Bundle up and check out the sculptures with your partner and enjoy some treats along the way. Be sure to swing back by after dark when the sculptures are lit up!

Grab tickets to a walking tour

Salem offers many walks and tours. Are you into history? Maybe something that is a little more “spooky”? Grab some tickets and have fun wandering Salem with your loved one.

Go antiquing

Do you live with your significant other? Consider doing some antiquing for new items for the home! You could swing by Pickering Wharf Antiques or hit up the Freaks, Antiques and Uniques pop up events at Witch City Consignment for some one of a kind finds.

Find a tarot reader you trust in Salem and get a couples reading! You never know what insight you might acquire to help strengthen your bond. 🙂
