The Haunted Happenings Grand Parade

The Haunted Happenings Grand Parade is considered the official start of the Halloween season here in Salem and is so much fun. The costumes are so great, the energy and vibes are always high and it’s a great time every year. It happens on the first Thursday of October so this year it’s on 10/3. I can’t wait!

The Haunted Happenings Marketplace and the Salem Chamber of Commerce Biz Baz Street Fair

I absolutely love shopping the street fairs and markets here in Salem. I love that Salem is such a small business friendly community and supports local artists and makers so much. As a small business owner myself, it is something that always sits close to my heart. I make a point each year to shop both the Haunted Happenings Marketplace and the Salem Chamber of Commerce Biz Baz to support my friends! You can find such good stuff at both of these events, no matter who or what you’re shopping for.

The Salem Night Faire

The Salem Night Faire is organized and put on by Black Veil Tattoo here in Salem. The level of detail, planning and thought that goes into creating the entire aesthetic of the Salem Night Faire is next level and I am so excited to check it out again this year.

BONUS: The Howl-o-Ween Pet Parade

Who doesn’t love animals in Halloween costumes?! The Howl-o-Ween Pet Parade is organized by Salem Main Streets and they do a great job each year. I love seeing all of the fur babies in costumes!
