things to do in salem, must visit restaurants in salem ma

I am a loverrrrr of food, guys. Are you? Are you planning a trip into Salem and wanting to know some favorite spots of mine? Well here we go! You have tons of food options in Salem and below are five of my current must visits.

  1. Mr. Crepe
Mr. Crepe opened in Salem in the beginning of February and seems to be doing well from the crowds I see. I popped in during the Salem’s So Sweet Festival and had a chocolate and Nutella crepe…oh my goodness, you guys. It was so good. They have breakfast crepes, sweet ones, ones with fruit, veggies; there is definitely something for everyone. So delicious.
  2. Flying Saucer
First off, I love their pizza. Second, as a proud Brown Coat and lover of “geeky things” I fully appreciate their decor and atmosphere. Inside you can find all manner of references to sci-fi, Star Trek, Firefly, Star Wars and more. Everything movies, fantasy and awesome. <3
  3. Goodnight Fatty
There it is. If you’re a local or have been to Salem, you knew it was coming. Goodnight Fatty slings some of the best cookies you’ll have, so I highly suggest swinging by. They operate on Friday and Saturday nights only so be sure to schedule them in during your visit.
  4. Ledger
The inside of Ledger is so pretty, I love it. With amazing food, unique drinks and a lovely setting how could it not be a favorite?? I love their Notch Beer battered fish sandwich on the lunch menu, the regular burger on the dinner menu as well as the grilled half chicken on the dinner menu.
  5. Cilantro
I could eat about nine thousand enchiladas from Cilantro. True story. I also really like their queso dip, called “Queso Fundido” on the menu. Salem has a few options in terms of Mexican food and Cilantro is my current favorite.

These are a handful of my favorites at the moment…what are yours?? Feel free to comment below. <3
