I was fortunate enough to have been asked by the Peabody Essex Museum to join a tour of their new “It’s Alive!” exhibit and I happily accepted. These are a few of my images! If you are in the Salem area anytime between now and November 26th, I highly recommend checking it out. The handful of pictures below are only a small section of the exhibit, there is much more to see beyond this.
Oh you know, just hanging out with Kirk Hammett himself while he explained some of the posters in his collection. No big deal. 😛
My new boyfriend.
A side view of some of the posters. Again, these pictures are only a small portion of the actual collection in the museum.
My other new boyfriend.
A few guitars with horror movie images on them. Off to one side of the exhibit are these guitars and a video of Kirk Hammett explaining the connection between his music and classic horror movies.
More movie set props.
All in all I would give this exhibit a 10/10. Definitely check it out if you’re in Salem, I highly recommend it.
