last minute holiday shopping in salem ma, things to do in salem

Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog. Today’s blog is the last post of 2023! I post every other Monday which means the next one would have been on December 25th, which is a national holiday, so I will be skipping that week. Blog posts will resume as normal on January 8th. I will still be sending out my weekly newsletter, posting on social media and active in my Facebook group…this only applies to my blog content here on my website. So what is today’s post? It’s a round up of some tips and tricks for last minute holiday shopping in Salem, MA.

Last minute holiday shopping in Salem, MA — 2023

This year I have made it my personal mission to do as much of my holiday shopping in downtown Salem as possible. I think I am going to finish up with about 80% of my gifts being purchased here which I love. Shopping locally and supporting local small businesses is something I am passionate about so it means a lot to me to support my friends and fellow business owners. I hope you do too, regardless of if you’re able to shop here in Salem or within your own community. If you aren’t local to Salem but still want to support Salem’s businesses, please consider ordering online from your favorites! Many of the businesses downtown and within Salem have online ordering options and online shops.

Please keep in mind the following businesses are my personal current holiday shopping favorites within the downtown area. This list is by no means all inclusive – Salem has hundreds of amazing shops that offer amazing products and services for you to choose from.

Moody’s Home & Gifts

Moody’s Home & Gifts is a personal favorite of mine for easy holiday shopping. I have already been in there once making purchases for loved ones and will likely pop back in again shortly for a few other folks on my list. Moody’s has tons of items at a wide range of price points so it makes for super quick last minute shopping if you need to swing by.
