things to do in salem, discount tickets salem ma

We all want to save a few bucks, right? Especially if you’re coming into Salem with the family or a large group – buying tickets to attractions at a discount can be crucial.Β The following info is five resources for doing so. Be sure to also check out the guest post I wrote over at SpookyLittleHalloween.com on visiting Salem on a budget for more tips and tricks!

Groupon
Most people are familiar with Groupon these days. Salem based businesses do offer deals on this site from time to time, so be sure to browse before you make any decisions. I have seen Bit Bar, Cilantro, Salem Heritage Tours, The Hawthorne Hotel and more offer deals in the past.

Go Boston Card
This is a travel website that offers discounts to many attractions around the North Shore. Largely, it’s Boston based but there are Salem attractions available, including the Peabody Essex Museum and the Salem Witch Museum (as of the date of this blog publish). I’d advise checking ahead with the businesses you want to visit to be sure your Go Card will be honored. Click here to see the options available.

Gallows Hill Combo Tickets
Gallows Hill offers a variety of shows and you can purchase them for the 2018 season at a discounted rate when grouped. Click here to go to their website and check it out.

Salem Witch Village Combo Tickets
Salem Witch Village is home to a handful of attractions, a tour and a live spell casting event. When you purchase tickets in combo (as opposed to individually) you can save some money. Check out the details here.

Salem residency
As if you needed another reason to move to Salem, right? πŸ˜› Those who live in the witch city and have proof of residency are able to get into a handful of attractions for free. For example, the Peabody Essex Museum. If you are unsure if a businesses offers free admission, I’d advise calling ahead and checking with them directly.
