TGIF! The weekend is here and I wanted to chat about some fun ways you can kick it off in the witch city. These are just a few ideas, Salem has tons more options outside of this list of course.

Grab some sweets from Goodnight Fatty
Salem’s most loved cookies are available Fridays and Saturdays in Higginson Square, starting at 7:00 pm. Get there early to avoid lines!

Hit the games at Bit Bar
Have a drink, some yummy food and play old school arcade games at Bit Bar.

Have a drink at the Roof 
The Roof is located atop the Hotel Salem and offers a gorgeous skyline view of the city. Grab a table, some drinks and chips with guacamole to enjoy the weekend vibes. (The image used in this blog post was taken from The Roof!)

Go for a movie at CinemaSalem
If you’re a movie fan like me, you might enjoy catching a flick at CinemaSalem. If you’re also into horror, you have a chance to see Halloween 2018 early this October. Check out the details here.

Watch the calendar for seasonal events
Salem hosts many events and festivals through the year as well as local ones that are specific to certain businesses in the city. For example, next weekend we have a food truck festival and paranormal investigation at the Hawthorne Hotel. Keep an eye for information as events are announced. 🙂

Bonus idea: Hop aboard the Salem Spirits Trolley
They are seasonal and only just started taking reservations, but if you happen to have a random Friday off, I’d highly suggest it.
