Hi guys, happy Monday and welcome back to the blog. A few weeks ago over on Instagram I shared a picture of the absolutely amazing Black Veil Tattoo here in Salem. I asked if you guys were interested in more pictures of it and the answer was a resounding “yes” so here we are today. Black Veil is not in the immediate walkable area of Salem which is why I wanted to include them in this “off the beaten path” series I have begun here. They are located at 137 Boston Street Salem, MA 01970 and it is absolutely worth it to get a ride to check it out. It is (and I am not even being dramatic or exaggerating) literally one of the most amazing shops I have ever seen. 10/10 would recommend 900x over.
About Black Veil Tattoo
“Co owned by identical twin brothers Ryan and Matthew Murray. Come forth and capture a glimpse through the keyhole of a veil between two worlds, to a place of sprawling gardens and looming shadows never to be at rest. Wander throughout the foyer and amongst a vast variety of beautifully grim artists, clothing designers and jewelry vendors. Photography candidly amidst the realm in which you find yourself. Within these gable walls you will not find the day, only the dimness of clocks where time itself will refrain. We are the black veil, we drift through the night.” [Source]
About the Salem Night Faire
“Presented by Black Veil we welcome you to the 4th annual Salem Night Faire amongst Salem’s beautifully haunting Pioneer Village (also used in the opening scene of the cult classic film “Hocus Pocus”)
Join us and tread beyond the darkened pines for a glimpse beyond the veil, an enchanting weekend of outdoors magick and wonder. Featuring over 30+ local and distant artists, clothing, jewelry, and oddity vendors, live performances, fireside ghost stories, photo ops, hot cider, a Biergarten & more. Extend a hand towards the mute fortune teller and have your fruitless fortune read, gaze upon the ghostly fashion installations of renowned designer Ashley Rose throughout the weekend, and lose yourself in a spellbinding daze. The time awaits, and magick fills the air this October Salem night.
Friday October 29th and Saturday October 30th 5:00 – 9:00pm, Admission is $5.00. Proceeds will benefit the preservation of Pioneer Village. Visit the Salem Night Faire website, www.salemnightfaire.com, and follow on Instagram @SalemNightFaire for more information” [Source]
