things to do in salem, welcome to salem

Hey everyone! Happy Monday and welcome back to the blog. Salem is home to so many amazing businesses and it seems like there are more joining us every month. I regularly go to ribbon cuttings with the Salem Chamber and it’s always a joy seeing what new and fresh energy is coming into the city. The following is a quick roundup of businesses that have opened in the last six months (ish).

Funhouse Donuts – 282 Derby St.

“I created small batch artisanal donuts fresh from scratch with customized flavors and unique designs. Working out of a certified commercial kitchen, I would mix, roll, cut, dip, top and decorate all the donuts by hand. I made custom donut menus for each pop-up and held events at all the favorite local breweries, distilleries and cider houses around the North Shore. Now with the help from my talented team, we’re creating even more freaky good donuts for you all to enjoy at our brick and mortar location in Salem, MA, Funhouse Donuts!”

Maitland Mountain Farm and Kitchen – 84 Derby St.

“At Maitland farm, kitchen, and spirits, we believe in the power of food to unite communities. Our mission is to elevate North Shore cuisine with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, offering a culinary experience that is both accessible and refined. We invite everyone to our family farm kitchen to experience the finest ingredients coming together to celebrate and elevate the flavors of local New England farms.”

The Sea Wych – 1 Derby Sq. Suite 4

“The Sea Wych Salem is Salem’s only shop devoted to sea and water witchcraft, and coastal decor for your home.
