Hi everyone, happy Monday and welcome back. Today on the blog I have a run down of every. single. ice. sculpture from this year’s Salem’s So Sweet festival. This time around was quite chaotic because on Saturday it was 60 degrees here in Salem. Yes, you read that right. 60. The following day we got snow. New England weather is notoriously drunk and this weekend was full proof of that. Given that the weather was super warm, some sculptures melted either partially or fully. This also meant that there was a delay in unwrapping some of them until the evening in order to preserve them. In the following pictures you will see some were taken at night – that is because of this delay. There was a record breaking 37 ice sculptures this year and I literally walked six miles in total with my boyfriend getting around to all of them, circling back to ones that weren’t installed yet or unwrapped, etc. It was chaos, you guys. However…I did it. The following are all of the sculptures or in some cases, what was left of them in the sun. Enjoy!
