About a year and a half ago I wrote a blog post that was my top five most Instagrammable places in Salem and today I thought it would be fun to do a part two! These days everyone is on social media and Salem is full of so many gorgeous spots to spruce up your account. Feel free to comment below with your own favorite areas to take pictures.
The Witch Museum
Of course. The Witch Museum is a super popular tourist destination in Salem and the building itself just screams to be photographed. I love the pattern along the top of the building and the huge front windows.
The Friendship
She’s back!! After being away from Salem’s wharf for a few years, The Friendship is now back in the witch city. What better time than now to go grab some pics?
Mural Slam
Mural Slam is part of the Salem Arts Festival which just took place last weekend. I love keeping an eye on the progress of the murals and it makes for some awesome pics. You can find this located on the backside of Artists’ Row, on the side closest to the parking lot there.

Borah of Salem’s Black Hat Society
Ohhh Salem’s beloved Borah. Borah is often seen wandering city wide events, generally harassing tourists and having fun. Grabbing a pic with Borah is a great idea for Instagram and they are more than happy to oblige.
The House of the Seven Gables
The Gables is a gorgeous landmark in Salem, just all around. About a month ago I had the pleasure of working with the Gables and Creative Collective to go behind the scenes to take some pictures for social media. I had so much fun and it made for great images. If you need some new pictures for your IG account, the House of the Seven Gables is so easy to photograph.

Emporium 32
The creepy vibes and aesthetic of Emporium 32 is off the charts. If you like Halloween and spooky vibes, this will be right up your alley.
Brandon the Shapeshifter
I had to throw another one of Salem’s costumed regulars in here and knew Brandon was perfect for it. His costumes are un-freaking-real and next level. Be sure to snap a pic if you spot him!
The decor inside of Boston Burger Company
The ouija board inspired decor inside of Boston Burger Company just yells out to be photographed. Be sure you snap a pic while you’re waiting on your food! *Image used is per their social media.
Countdown to Halloween
This sign can be found in Derby Square and is pretty heavily photographed as the months go by. It’s someone’s personal property so please be respectful.
The Penn Townsend house on Turner Street
This is seriously one of my favorites in Salem, I am obsessed with the door. It’s also located super close to the House of the Seven Gables, so if you’re visiting there, it’s an easy next stop. *Image used is per Google Maps.
I hope this helped spark some ideas for you. Enjoy!! <3
